About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies to reduce theft, accidents, and fraudulent activity
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of all areas of the property to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Manage and train a team of loss prevention professionals
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and reporting standards
  • Work with law enforcement and other outside agencies as needed
  • Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring all costs are controlled and within guidelines

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in a large luxury resort
  • In-depth knowledge of local and state laws related to loss prevention and safety
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Eloquent in English (written and spoken)
  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a related field
  • Master's degree is desirable
