About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies to reduce theft, accidents, and fraudulent activity
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of all areas of the property to identify and mitigate potential risks
- Work closely with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Manage and train a team of loss prevention professionals
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and reporting standards
- Work with law enforcement and other outside agencies as needed
- Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring all costs are controlled and within guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in a large luxury resort
- In-depth knowledge of local and state laws related to loss prevention and safety
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Eloquent in English (written and spoken)
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a related field
- Master's degree is desirable
