Assistant Director of Justice Related Services

Responsibilities

• Support the Director in overseeing day-to-day operations of the case management program for individuals in the forensic system.
• Provide supervision, feedback, and performance appraisals for Case Managers, Certified Peer Specialists, and interns.
• Assist in the interviewing, hiring, and orientation processes for new staff.
• Ensure high-quality, client-centered care and timely completion of action plans for individuals served.
• Coordinate program emergency on-call processes and manage staff schedules.
• Interface with Managed Care, County offices, Probation, Mental Health Court, and jail staff.
• Assist with the intake process for new referrals and oversee the disbursement of funds to program participants.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Two years of direct work experience in mental health services.
• Valid US driver's license held for at least two years.
• Access to a reliable vehicle with valid registration and insurance for travel to offsite locations.
• Ability to work scheduled overtime or unplanned overtime as necessary to meet program needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field.
• At least one year of experience specifically in justice-related services.
• Three years of experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of the Intercept Model and the recovery model.
