About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Director in overseeing day-to-day operations of the case management program for individuals in the forensic system.
- Provide supervision, feedback, and performance appraisals for Case Managers, Certified Peer Specialists, and interns.
- Assist in the interviewing, hiring, and orientation processes for new staff.
- Ensure high-quality, client-centered care and timely completion of action plans for individuals served.
- Coordinate program emergency on-call processes and manage staff schedules.
- Interface with Managed Care, County offices, Probation, Mental Health Court, and jail staff.
- Assist with the intake process for new referrals and oversee the disbursement of funds to program participants.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Two years of direct work experience in mental health services.
- Valid US driver's license held for at least two years.
- Access to a reliable vehicle with valid registration and insurance for travel to offsite locations.
- Ability to work scheduled overtime or unplanned overtime as necessary to meet program needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
- At least one year of experience specifically in justice-related services.
- Three years of experience including supervisory responsibilities.
- Knowledge of the Intercept Model and the recovery model.
