Assistant Director of InclusiveU

Responsibilities

• Support the administration of the InclusiveU program, including staff oversight and all related processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with institutional and external stakeholders to develop and implement policies that foster a high-quality, inclusive experience.
• Supervise assistant coordinators, support staff, and student support staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Provide oversight to the advising and registration process to ensure effective coordination with InclusiveU staff and students.
• Direct the course modification and accommodation process for InclusiveU students in coordination with faculty, mentors, and the Center for Disability Resources.
• Support the development of content, presentations, and tool kits for institutions building or improving inclusive higher education programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Knowledge of academic modifications and accommodations.
• Understanding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and inclusive higher education.
• Experience supporting students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and independent work skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing technical assistance related to inclusive higher education.
