Assistant Director of Housing Assignments and Administrative Services

Responsibilities

• Oversee all housing assignment processes to ensure data accuracy and maximize student satisfaction.
• Manage the StarRez housing management system, including database structures, report development, and data analytics.
• Coordinate system implementations, upgrades, and modifications to maintain data integrity.
• Analyze housing occupancy data and develop marketing initiatives to support occupancy goals.
• Manage student meal plan processes and oversee content for the departmental website.
• Provide day-to-day oversight of departmental budgets and financial operations.
• Supervise professional and support staff within the department.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with campus partners such as the Registrar, Bursar, and Financial Aid offices.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, Public Administration, MBA, or a related field.
• Alternatively, 3-5 years of full-time residential work experience in a Higher Education setting.
• 2-5 years of progressively responsible experience in college/university housing.
• Proven experience supervising staff.
• Proficiency with housing database technology, with a strong preference for StarRez experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and budgeting skills.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment with high attention to detail.
