Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to attract high-quality graduate students, with a focus on Education and Health programs.
• Manage the full admissions lifecycle, including application review, conducting interviews, and making admissions decisions.
• Plan and coordinate recruitment events such as information sessions, open houses, and virtual fairs.
• Represent the university at graduate school fairs and conferences locally, regionally, and nationally.
• Cultivate relationships with prospective students, community organizations, and academic partners to build enrollment pipelines.
• Utilize CRM tools to manage prospective student communication, track recruitment activities, and maintain accurate records.
• Analyze recruitment data and generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in graduate admissions, recruitment, or a related field.
• Experience using a CRM or admissions management system, such as Slate.
• Ability and willingness to travel nationally for recruitment activities, including overnight and multi-day trips.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for recruitment events.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree.
• Knowledge of graduate programs within the Education and Health fields.
• Experience with data analysis tools to support recruitment strategies.
