Assistant Director of Employer Relations

Responsibilities

• Analyze employer engagement trends and labor market data to identify hiring patterns and inform programming.
• Oversee the execution and assessment of employer-facing programs and initiatives to drive student outcomes.
• Manage and analyze career-related data using CRM platforms like Handshake and Salesforce to report on strategic metrics.
• Execute external communications and outreach plans to re-engage employer partners and expand high-growth sectors.
• Plan and execute employer-facing events, including on-campus, virtual, and hybrid recruiting processes.
• Coordinate logistical aspects of student engagement opportunities, including scheduling, hosting, and follow-up.
• Support financial management activities, including drafting budgets, processing contracts, and tracking expenses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in employer relations, career services, recruiting, or strategic partnerships.
• Demonstrated experience in program oversight and data-informed decision-making.
• Proficiency with CRM and recruiting platforms (e.g., Handshake, Salesforce).
• Experience with budget management and financial tracking.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with business school ecosystems and industry talent acquisition practices.
• Experience managing the full lifecycle of professional events from planning through assessment.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for university leadership.
