About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the donor fund reporting process by gathering and synthesizing financial and programmatic data from campus partners.
- Draft and edit clear, compelling reports that communicate the impact of donor funds to supporters.
- Coordinate and execute on- and off-campus donor recognition events, including logistics, guest management, and post-event follow-up.
- Utilize the alumni and donor database to manage guest lists, track attendance, and maintain accurate records of stewardship activities.
- Compose and manage timely, personalized gift acknowledgements to ensure donors are appropriately recognized.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in advancement, donor relations, communications, or event planning.
- Strong writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work weekends and evenings when appropriate, such as during Reunion or Homecoming events.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, such as Raiser’s Edge.
- Familiarity with donor engagement and communication tools like ThankView or Adobe Premiere Pro.
