Assistant Director of Campus Experience and Engagement

Responsibilities

• Implement and coordinate on-campus visit experiences for over 1,500 individual and group visitors annually.
• Manage the front desk and lobby experience to ensure a welcoming first impression for prospective students and families.
• Partner with the tour guide management team and student tour guides to provide hospitable and inclusive service.
• Maintain accurate individual and group visit attendance data using Slate.
• Engage with families during schedule breaks to share knowledge of the college and the admissions process.
• Anticipate the needs of visitors and staff by monitoring scheduling changes and lobby traffic flow.
• Handle visitor questions and problems with calm efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proven customer service experience with the ability to converse effectively with a diverse range of people.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Google Suite software.
• Ability to reflect the mission of Hope College in both words and actions.
• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using Technolutions Slate.
• Experience in event coordination and implementation.
