About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement day-to-day operations of the Bonner Program's four-year developmental curriculum.
- Coordinate logistics for cornerstone activities, including the First-Year Trip, Sophomore Exchange, and Junior Capstone projects.
- Manage community partner relationships, including site orientations, onboarding, and regular check-ins.
- Provide ongoing advising and support to Bonner Scholars and Leaders regarding placements and program requirements.
- Execute the placement matching process by connecting students with appropriate community opportunities.
- Maintain comprehensive program records, including service hours, student development data, and partnership agreements.
- Collect and analyze data to support assessment initiatives and annual reporting to the Bonner Foundation.
- Create marketing and communication materials to highlight student achievements and program impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in student affairs, higher education, social work, nonprofit management, community development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in community engagement, service-learning, student affairs, or volunteer management.
- Proven experience coordinating programs, events, or projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience working with community partners or nonprofit organizations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn new technology platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with the Bonner Program, Campus Compact, or similar service-scholarship programs.
- Background in advising, mentoring, or coaching college students.
- Experience with student development assessment and learning outcomes measurement.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish/English).
- Previous experience as a Bonner Scholar, Leader, or AmeriCorps member.
