About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of athletic facilities to ensure safety, code compliance, and cleanliness
  • Serve as the primary liaison with university departments for services and preventive maintenance
  • Oversee facility equipment inventory and manage maintenance and repairs for all assigned assets
  • Schedule events and manage space utilization, maintaining the facility usage calendar
  • Manage assigned facility budgets, tracking work orders and equipment purchases
  • Plan and execute game operations, including logistics, staffing, and setup/breakdown
  • Supervise full-time, part-time, and student staff during games, events, and facility projects
  • Oversee minor capital projects and deferred maintenance as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior supervisory experience is required
  • Advanced knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including databases, spreadsheets, and word processing
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and move equipment
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays to support athletic schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Athletics administrative experience
  • Experience managing athletic and non-athletic events (e.g., concerts, graduations) in a Division I environment
