Assistant Director of Asthma Program Evaluation

Responsibilities

• Monitor neighborhood asthma surveillance data
• Oversee data analyses to evaluate program progress and measure outcomes
• Oversee development and implementation of IT systems for data management
• Supervise research and evaluation staff
• Respond to data requests and conduct literature reviews
• Coordinate with other health department asthma program evaluation activities
• Represent the program at departmental, local, statewide, and national meetings
• Develop and execute data dissemination strategies through reports and presentations

Requirements

• Master's degree in physical, biological, environmental science, or public health
• For higher levels: Doctorate with 1 year supervisory experience OR Master's with 3 years research experience
• Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
• Familiarity with analytical software
• Experience in applied public health programs
• Prior program evaluation experience
