Assistant Director of Admissions

Responsibilities

• Manage a dedicated recruitment territory by building and executing strategic travel and outreach plans
• Represent PennWest at high schools, college fairs, and community events both in-state and out-of-state
• Review applications and supporting documents to make admissions decisions using professional judgment
• Develop strong partnerships with school counselors, students, families, and community organizations
• Use CRM tools (Slate) to track engagement and personalize communication with prospective students
• Plan and execute on-campus and off-campus events, including visit programs and yield initiatives
• Lead information sessions and provide one-on-one support to prospective students and families

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience planning, coordinating, or supporting events
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
• Ability to work independently and balance competing priorities
• Ability to lift and move recruitment supplies (25–50 pounds) and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in admissions or enrollment management
