About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage domestic, first-year undergraduate student recruitment and admissions counseling.
  • Meet enrollment goals by establishing and strengthening recruitment territories.
  • Represent the University at high school college fairs, visits, open houses, and other recruitment events.
  • Counsel prospective students and families via office visits, telephone, Zoom, and email regarding academic programs and admissions policies.
  • Review applications and render admissions and scholarship decisions.
  • Develop recruitment strategies, including targeting specific schools and tracking progress.
  • Foster relationships with high school guidance counselors and recruitment partners.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of on- and off-campus yield events.
  • Prepare regular reports for the Director of Campus Admissions to monitor applicant status and project progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively, including frequent overnight travel and evening/weekend work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • Previous experience in Admissions or a related field.
  • Experience using PeopleSoft and ImageNow systems.
