About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of on-campus events, including Orange Preview and Spring Receptions
- Manage recruitment territories and evaluate applicant credentials for admission
- Recommend admission decisions to support University enrollment goals and priorities
- Communicate Syracuse University’s value proposition to prospective students and families
- Manage event budgets, including purchasing, invoicing, and expense reconciliation
- Collaborate with University Marketing and Communications to develop recruitment materials
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-5 years of experience in selective college admission or a related field
- Proven experience in event planning
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Slate
- Valid US driver’s license
- Ability to work evenings and weekends for on-campus and off-campus events
- Willingness to travel within the US
