About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of on-campus events, including Orange Preview and Spring Receptions
  • Manage recruitment territories and evaluate applicant credentials for admission
  • Recommend admission decisions to support University enrollment goals and priorities
  • Communicate Syracuse University’s value proposition to prospective students and families
  • Manage event budgets, including purchasing, invoicing, and expense reconciliation
  • Collaborate with University Marketing and Communications to develop recruitment materials

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-5 years of experience in selective college admission or a related field
  • Proven experience in event planning
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Slate
  • Valid US driver’s license
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends for on-campus and off-campus events
  • Willingness to travel within the US
