Assistant Director of Admission

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the recruitment, evaluation, and enrollment of qualified first-year students.
• Manage an assigned recruitment territory, including travel and relationship building with the guidance community.
• Represent Bryant University at high schools, college fairs, and various on- and off-campus events.
• Utilize Slate to review, interpret, and enter data regarding high school academic credentials and standardized testing results.
• Make admission and academic scholarship eligibility recommendations based on established guidelines.
• Conduct pre-admission counseling to prospective students and families to ensure understanding of university programs.
• Support the implementation of university marketing, social media, and digital recruitment strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the admission field.
• Proven experience reviewing, evaluating, and interpreting high school academic credentials and standardized testing.
• Valid driver's license (extensive travel is expected).
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Slate or Banner.
• Experience applying federal guidelines governing admission practices.
• Technological savvy with proficiency in electronic communications and common software applications.
