Assistant Director, Leadership Giving

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, and solicit prospective donors at the $10,000 - $100,000 level to advance university philanthropic goals
• Build and manage a portfolio of leadership-level prospects with the potential to transition to major gift capacity
• Develop and execute effective stewardship plans to enhance donor engagement and financial support
• Collaborate with University Advancement and various college units to align fundraising strategies
• Utilize Salesforce to log activities, manage progress reports, and maintain data integrity
• Meet and exceed established metrics and benchmarks for development activity

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a development-related environment
• Bachelor's degree is required
• Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with donors, faculty, and staff
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel as necessary to meet with constituents
