About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop meaningful relationships with Jewish students and identify potential student leaders
- Oversee all Hillel programs at UCSD, ensuring they are student-led and accessible
- Manage the programming budget and strategic vision of the programming calendar
- Facilitate Jewish learning, ritual observance, and provide mentorship for Shabbat and holiday experiences
- Build relationships with university officials, faculty, and student government committees
- Supervise and support engagement staff, including Springboard Jewish Learning Fellows and Israel Fellows
- Oversee social media presence and engagement tracking
Requirements
- Four-year degree
- Experience as an experiential Jewish educator and role model
- Experience supervising students, staff, or volunteers
- Proficiency in GSuite and social media platforms
- Strong organizational and event planning skills
- Ability to handle deadlines and competing priorities
