About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and administrative oversight for 13 on-campus fraternity and sorority chapter houses and approximately 174 residents.
  • Directly supervise, train, and evaluate a team of 12-13 student Chapter House Assistants and co-supervise a Graduate Intern.
  • Manage student care and wellbeing by utilizing communication systems to identify and support at-risk students in partnership with the Dean of Students Office.
  • Serve as a primary judicial hearing officer and case manager for non-organizational conduct within the chapter houses.
  • Oversee facility operations, including health and safety inspections, occupancy verification, damage assessment, and work order management.
  • Facilitate roommate mediations and conflict resolution to foster a healthy living environment.
  • Participate in an on-call emergency response rotation to ensure the safety of residential and commuter students.
  • Maintain a visible presence at chapter houses and large-scale Greek community events.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in fraternity/sorority life, residence life, housing, or student affairs.
  • Experience with mediation, student intervention, and emergency response in an on-call capacity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to live in a designated 1-bedroom on-campus apartment.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and train undergraduate student staff.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in student personnel, higher education, or a related field.
  • Experience with housing management software (e.g., eRezLife) and student conduct software (e.g., Maxient).
  • Familiarity with Canvas LMS or Campus Labs.
  • Proven ability to manage crisis situations and exercise sound judgment in confidential settings.
