About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee the enhancement and support of the campus Greek community and provide leadership to social fraternities and sororities.
- Serve as the primary advisor to the Panhellenic Council, Interfraternity Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, and Greek Engagement Board.
- Develop and implement leadership programs, services, and policies that align with the University mission.
- Support chapters in assessing health, strategic priorities, and adherence to institutional policies.
- Provide student development opportunities, including educational programming on risk management, alcohol awareness, and bystander intervention.
- Manage assessment efforts, including maintaining membership records, recruitment statistics, and annual success reports.
- Supervise and mentor paid student leaders and the Graduate Assistant for FSL and Leadership.
- Coordinate marketing materials and social media campaigns to promote the FSL community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3 years of experience in fraternity and sorority life, program management, leadership development, or a related field (Graduate Assistant experience is acceptable).
- Experience in student activities programming and major event coordination.
- Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to work evening and weekend hours as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree.
- Membership in a social Greek organization.
- Experience in student risk management and facilitating leadership programs.
- Experience in the assessment of educational outcomes.
- Proficiency with student affairs technology, including web-based applications and desktop publishing.
