Assistant Director for Marketing & Athletic Communications

Responsibilities

• Tell the College’s story through written, visual, and digital storytelling across various platforms
• Support Athletics by highlighting the student-athlete experience and coordinating athletic marketing
• Draft press releases, institutional feature stories, student/alumni profiles, and athletics-related features
• Update web content and assist with social media planning and execution
• Support multimedia projects including video and photography
• Collaborate with departments such as Admissions, Athletics, and Advancement to strengthen recruitment and engagement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 2–5 years of experience in communications, journalism, digital media, or sports information
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Experience with web content management systems
• Proficiency in photography and video production

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with digital storytelling tools and basic analytics
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
• Experience in relationship-building within a professional environment
