Assistant Director Football Performance

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision and management of day-to-day football peak performance operations.
• Teach, demonstrate, and supervise proper techniques for strength, speed, conditioning, and flexibility exercises.
• Maintain a safe and positive training environment within the weight room and athletic facilities.
• Collaborate closely with medical and athletic training staff to integrate injured athletes safely into the performance program.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with all safety procedures.
• Support the recruitment, training, and coaching of student-athletes to maximize their academic and athletic performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Knowledge of and ability to abide by NCAA, Patriot League, and Lafayette College rules and regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with student-athletes and staff.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by the athletic schedule.
