Assistant Director/Director, Financial Aid and Scholarships

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial aid operations and deliver excellent customer service to students and families
• Administer and monitor federal, state, institutional, and private aid funds to ensure responsible stewardship
• Provide financial aid analysis and reporting to support strategic enrollment initiatives and net tuition revenue goals
• Manage award adjustments for course load changes, military benefits, and GPA/credit hour requirements
• Oversee the Federal Work-Study Program and serve as a liaison for employee tuition benefits
• Develop proactive outreach strategies to support federal loan status and provide exit loan counseling
• Maintain and optimize processes within Workday and other reporting tools

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3 years of experience in financial aid, student services, or a related field
• Proven knowledge of federal aid processes and regulations
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform operations using American currency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Strong oral and written communication skills for one-on-one and group settings
• Commitment to supporting the Christ-centered mission of Anderson University

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Workday, Department of Education systems, or similar platforms
