About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the oversight of Regional Office practices to ensure consistency across offices
  • Supervise Regional Office staff, including office managers and Early Intervention Official Designees
  • Advise the Director on Regional Office performance
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality services and promote regulatory compliance
  • Oversee staff work in the EI Hub case management and billing system
  • Assist with staff hiring, performance evaluations, and professional development
  • Develop and implement procedures, databases, and indicators to monitor office efficiency
  • Address parent and provider complaints and participate in due process proceedings

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Social Sciences, Health Care Specialization, Physical Sciences, or related programs with 4 years of progressive experience
  • OR Master's Degree in Public Health, Public/Hospital Administration, Health Care Specialization, or Business Administration with 3 years of progressive experience
  • Demonstrated skills in written and oral communication
  • Experience in Health Care Program Planning, Research, Design, Operation, Evaluation, and Analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of early childhood development (birth to three years)
  • Familiarity with best practices for infants and toddlers with delays and disabilities
  • Knowledge of the NYC Early Intervention Program policies and landscape
  • Experience with meeting facilitation, mediation, or consensus building
  • Experience with case management software
