About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with the oversight of Regional Office practices to ensure consistency across EI Regional offices
- Oversee staff work in the EI Hub case management and billing system
- Supervise Regional Office staff and advise the Regional Director on performance
- Ensure delivery of high-quality services to NYC’s children and families
- Address Parent and Provider Complaints and participate in Due Process proceedings
- Assist with staff hiring, performance evaluations, and staff development
- Develop and implement procedures, databases, and indicators to monitor office performance
Requirements
- Baccalaureate Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Social Sciences, Health Care Specialization, Physical Sciences, or related programs with 4 years of progressive experience
- OR Master's Degree in Public Health, Public/Hospital Administration, Health Care Specialization, Business Administration, or related disciplines with 3 years of progressive experience
- Demonstrated skills in written and oral communication
- Knowledge of early childhood development (ages birth to three)
- Familiarity with NYC Early Intervention Program policies and procedures
- Experience with meeting facilitation, mediation, or group consensus building
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with case management software or similar applications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills under strict deadlines
