Assistant Director – Audio Visual Technical

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance, training, and development of AV technical and special event operational teams
• Direct the operation, deployment, and maintenance of fixed AV and entertainment equipment, including LED walls, large-format screens, and IP-based video routing
• Develop and implement AV system uptime strategies, performance KPIs, and lifecycle planning
• Monitor system components and implement solutions for technical issues to ensure maximum performance
• Manage outsourced service providers and third-party vendors
• Evaluate AV requirements and manage inventory for operating supplies and equipment
• Implement quality control mechanisms for setup, storage, audio, video, and health and safety standards
• Ensure exceptional guest audio and visual experiences across the resort

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Audio Visual technical services
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role managing technical teams
• Industry certification in Visual Display System control technology
• Degree in Audio Engineering, Technical Theatre, Production Design, or a related field
• Fluency in English with excellent interpersonal skills in multicultural environments
• Experience in luxury resorts or five-star entertainment venues is highly desirable
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills
