About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the project management, execution, and evaluation of institution-wide annual giving initiatives, including digital and mail appeals.
  • Manage and optimize online fundraising through Salesforce, ensuring strong donor experiences throughout the donor lifecycle.
  • Draft and manage compelling donor-facing content across multiple channels, including email, social media, and direct mail.
  • Design, implement, and manage the Student Ambassador Program to empower students as peer fundraisers and advocates.
  • Partner with Advancement Operations to track, analyze, and report on annual giving and digital fundraising performance.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and campus partners to ensure alignment with overall fundraising goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Four years of experience in fundraising, annual giving, marketing, communications, or public relations.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM), marketing automation platforms like Pardot, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong skills in digital marketing, campaign execution, and data-driven strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for mission-driven storytelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and lead student employees or volunteers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot).
  • Prior experience in higher education or nonprofit advancement functions.
  • Experience supervising student employees, interns, or ambassador programs.
  • Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for creating branded digital and print assets.
