About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of segmented annual giving campaigns, including class, reunion, parent, and giving society efforts.
  • Develop campaign strategies and timelines using data and donor insights to drive participation and revenue growth.
  • Recruit, train, and support volunteer leaders and committees to conduct peer outreach and gift solicitation.
  • Oversee the Student Philanthropy Center program, including the management and training of student workers.
  • Build a strong donor pipeline through targeted outreach, milestone-based campaigns, and giving days.
  • Manage a portfolio of annual giving prospects, with a focus on reunion years and young alumni.
  • Design and implement stewardship initiatives, such as impact communications and donor recognition programs.
  • Utilize analytics to inform segmentation and track campaign performance, including participation and retention rates.
  • Collaborate with Advancement, Communications, and Alumni Engagement teams to align multi-channel messaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3–5 years of experience in annual giving, fundraising, alumni engagement, or marketing.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including some nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education fundraising.
  • Experience leading programs involving students, volunteers, or campus partners.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, online giving platforms, and event management software.
  • Experience with digital communication tools, design software, or the integration of AI tools.
