Assistant Director, AI Engineering Partnerships

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end technical solutions, including system diagrams and architecture documentation, to align engineering efforts with product vision.
• Lead the design and development of GenAI-powered solutions, such as LLM-based tooling and AI agents, to extend analytical capabilities.
• Build and maintain agentic workflows, skills, and tool-use integrations using Model Context Protocol (MCP) and related protocols.
• Serve as a technical advisor in client-facing engagements, communicating complex AI architectures to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Deliver compelling proofs of concept (POCs), live demonstrations, and prototype solutions to accelerate partner adoption.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize integrations across major cloud environments including Azure, AWS, GCP, and Databricks.
• Drive the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from ideation through application packaging and deployment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in TypeScript, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Expertise in artificial intelligence, specifically AI agents and agentic workflows (tool-use patterns, plugin architectures).
• Experience with modern integration protocols, including Model Context Protocol (MCP) or Agent-to-Agent (A2A) standards.
• Full stack development expertise, including frontend components, API design, backend services, and database queries.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Databricks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Git, Docker, and Terraform.
• Understanding of event-driven systems, asynchronous processing, and distributed architectures.
• Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, ECS) and search platforms like OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
• Experience building or integrating with marketplace listing workflows (Azure Marketplace, AWS Marketplace).
• Experience with Microsoft Teams bots and Microsoft AI delivery channels.
