About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 holistic advising to guide students in post-baccalaureate outcomes, including graduate school, fellowships, and career pathways
  • Design and deliver specialized programming for assigned communities, such as Healthcare, STEM Research, and Pre-Health
  • Coordinate and develop online content for various career pathways
  • Maintain detailed advising notes and student communications through designated platforms
  • Build and maintain recruiting relationships and pipelines with key employers
  • Track and analyze data trends regarding advising caseloads and student outcomes to inform strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and College Relations Advancement teams to support student and alumni programming

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in teaching, advising, coaching, consulting, or equivalent professional development
  • Experience in career advising or student development
  • Proven ability to manage large caseloads and a rapid pace
  • Strong quantitative skills for data tracking and program analysis
  • Demonstrated commitment to anti-racist work and DEI principles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in undergraduate or high school student development
  • Background in talent recruitment, internship management, or academic advising
  • Experience supporting students through career planning and life skills transitions
