Assistant Designer

Responsibilities

• Assist designers in the creation of fully concepted lines for designated end users
• Support all aspects of line development, including sketching bodies and developing embellishments and trims
• Manage style data within the design calendar and ensure all information is entered accurately into Style Builder
• Maintain and update design boards, color cards, trim cards, and pattern development sheets
• Participate in seasonal trend research to identify styles, materials, color palettes, patterns, and prints
• Assist in reviewing development samples and adhere to seasonal time and action calendars

Requirements

• Associate Degree in a relevant field
• 0-2 years of experience in fashion design
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Strong skills in fashion illustration and sketching
• Experience with tech pack development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with sustainable design practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
