Assistant Designer

Responsibilities

• Support the design process from initial concept to final product development for the Little Planet brand
• Prepare and update line sheets and design sketches using Adobe Illustrator and Miro
• Assist with pre-production art, including reviewing prints, graphic scale, and color chips
• Sketch technical drawings in Illustrator and communicate design intent to technical partners
• Participate in the fit process and update design sketches based on feedback
• Research and present innovative creative concepts, including color, print, and graphic direction
• Help assemble concept boards, mood boards, and samples for formal presentations

Requirements

• Portfolio required
• 1-2 years of experience in the apparel industry
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator with strong sketching skills
• Strong sense of color and aesthetic ability

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of garment construction, silhouettes, and sewing techniques
• Working knowledge of Miro and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
