About the role
Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and design ranges for ASOS DESIGN, including shapes, color, and fabric
- React to sales information to design commercially relevant, fashion-forward ranges
- Identify current and future trends to interpret into first-to-market pieces
- Work with technical teams on initial fits and problem-solving
- Build relations with suppliers and advise on construction, materials, and trims
- Adhere to the critical path to ensure product development meets deadlines
Requirements
- Experience in or relevant studies in Fashion Design
- Portfolio submission required
- Strong fashion-forward perspective and sense of handwriting
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Adobe, CAD, Miro, and AI design tools
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally for supplier meetings
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing for Womenswear, Footwear, or Accessories
- Experience with High Street Retailers or aspirational brands
- Experience working with Far East, European, and UK suppliers
- Experience with AI tools such as Midjourney or Fermat
