Assistant Demand Planner

Responsibilities

• Validate pending discharges and enter them into the system to cover backorders
• Generate previous day billing reports and select items for cyclic inventory counts
• Generate pending delivery reports to validate open shipments from the previous day
• Create customer shipments and manage appointments through TLB and customer service
• Track and capture cyclic inventories and validate plant shipment relations against distribution center discharges
• Generate estimated billing reports and coordinate with traffic supervisors regarding loading commitments
• Assist in searching for and assigning transportation to ensure service fulfillment in the absence of a supervisor
• Follow up on backorders with plants and distribution centers to ensure timely shipping

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Previous experience in demand planning, data analysis, or similar roles
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large volumes of data
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proactive mindset with the ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment
