About the role

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain student conduct and professionalism standards for the college.
  • Oversee the reporting, documentation, and resolution of student misconduct in accordance with institutional policies and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and manage academic and career advising plans to support students through all phases of their medical degree.
  • Lead the Academic Success Team to coach and counsel students identified as being at academic risk.
  • Manage residency application and Match-related processes, ensuring compliance with national requirements and timelines.
  • Contribute to the creation and quality assurance of Medical Student Performance Evaluations (MSPEs).
  • Oversee the student Badging Program to recognize exceptional extracurricular initiative.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical student administration or higher education student personnel.
  • Proven experience in curriculum development.
  • Demonstrated experience in academic advising or counseling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Board certification.
  • Five years of experience specifically with the residency match process.
