Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for all undergraduate and graduate recruitment and admissions for the College-Conservatory of Music (CCM).
- Serve as a senior advisor to the Dean on admissions policy, enrollment strategy, and long-range academic planning.
- Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing admissions team, establishing performance metrics and professional development pathways.
- Design and implement data-driven recruitment strategies to optimize application generation, yield, and talent diversification.
- Oversee audition and pre-screening processes, including audition days and college-level tours.
- Manage a $12M annual scholarship budget to maximize recruitment, yield, and student support.
- Utilize analytics and market research to monitor enrollment trends and inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with faculty, division chairs, and university partners to align enrollment goals with artistic and academic priorities.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Music, Theatre, Dance, Media, Student Affairs, Higher Education, or Marketing.
- 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in higher education admissions, recruitment, or enrollment management.
- 4+ years of senior-level leadership experience supervising professional staff and managing complex operations.
- Experience in specialized or selective admissions environments (conservatory or arts-based experience strongly preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex enrollment data into actionable strategy.
- Proficiency with admissions CRM systems (e.g., Slate) and data visualization tools.
- Experience with audition-, portfolio-, or interview-based admissions models.
- Strong ability to influence and collaborate with senior academic leadership and faculty.
