About the role
Responsibilities
- Set the strategic vision for the Samberg Institute, aligning instructional programming and faculty development with academic priorities
- Oversee the design and evolution of faculty development programming, including onboarding and ongoing engagement
- Lead the development and scaling of instructional products, including digital learning tools and AI-enabled platforms
- Establish the overarching coaching infrastructure and quality standards for instructional coaching across the School
- Utilize data-driven approaches, including course evaluations and faculty feedback, to assess teaching effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
- Represent the School in external conversations regarding teaching innovation and the future of education
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to motivate teams
- Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written/oral communication skills
- Ability to think strategically and work independently while maintaining attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or graduate degree in an education-related field
- Experience in higher education, specifically within professional schools
- Basic understanding of core MBA subjects such as accounting, finance, economics, or marketing
- Professional experience or interest in instructional design and academic teaching
