Assistant Dean, Learning & Instruction and Executive Director, Samberg Institute

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic vision for the Samberg Institute, aligning instructional programming and faculty development with academic priorities
• Oversee the design and evolution of faculty development programming, including onboarding and ongoing engagement
• Lead the development and scaling of instructional products, including digital learning tools and AI-enabled platforms
• Establish the overarching coaching infrastructure and quality standards for instructional coaching across the School
• Utilize data-driven approaches, including course evaluations and faculty feedback, to assess teaching effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
• Represent the School in external conversations regarding teaching innovation and the future of education

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to motivate teams
• Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written/oral communication skills
• Ability to think strategically and work independently while maintaining attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or graduate degree in an education-related field
• Experience in higher education, specifically within professional schools
• Basic understanding of core MBA subjects such as accounting, finance, economics, or marketing
• Professional experience or interest in instructional design and academic teaching
