Assistant de Direction Culturelle

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and write cultural strategies for artistic programming, including artist prospecting and thematic documentary research
• Support the Secretary General with administrative management and the preparation of strategic meetings such as the Board of Directors
• Assist in developing public grant applications and project calls, ensuring all deadlines are met
• Manage logistics for professional events, including meetings, seminars, and conferences
• Handle travel reservations for creators and professional guests through the agency provider
• Assist with agenda management, travel arrangements, and expense reporting for the Director
• Maintain and update databases, contact files, and shared team documents
• Draft meeting minutes and notes to ensure accurate record-keeping and archiving

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in higher education with a specialization in cultural management or an equivalent field
• Strong knowledge of the contemporary art and/or design institutional landscape
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Fluency in both French and English
• Excellent writing skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to provide a valid internship agreement (convention de stage) for a 6-month period
