Assistant Cross Country Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach with the organization and implementation of systems, practices, and game plans
• Provide technical expertise in the fundamentals of cross country
• Support recruitment efforts and team member selection
• Guide and mentor student-athletes, fostering their spiritual development and discipleship
• Assist with practice sessions and coaching during intercollegiate contests
• Support program improvements and encourage team unity
• Ensure program compliance with university policy, conference rules, and NAIA guidelines
• Assist with the daily operations of the athletic program

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Demonstrated proficiency in the sport of cross country
• Competence in using Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to testify to a personal experience of salvation in Jesus Christ and affirm the University’s Statement of Faith

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of intercollegiate coaching experience
• Extensive collegiate-level player experience
