About the role

Responsibilities

  • Structure, draft, and negotiate content licenses and distribution agreements with traditional and emerging platforms, including social media, video syndication, and digital outlets
  • Negotiate agreements related to shortform content production and app distribution
  • Support direct-to-consumer products by drafting promotional agreements and reviewing creative materials and policies
  • Provide ongoing legal advice and analysis regarding media-related agreements and strategic operational issues
  • Support senior attorneys and executives during contract negotiations and stakeholder meetings
  • Provide legal and business affairs support for various NFL projects and initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year university and a J.D. from an accredited law school
  • 3+ years of transactional legal experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house at a media, entertainment, or technology company
  • Strong drafting experience within the media, content, or technology sectors
  • Proficiency with complex agreements and familiarity with distribution, licensing, and direct-to-consumer models
  • Valid membership in good standing in the New York state bar

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge and a meaningful interest in emerging media trends and technology
  • Experience managing diverse projects simultaneously with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume workplace environment
