Assistant Cost Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, feasibility studies, and cost plans
• Support cost benchmarking and data analysis for construction and engineering packages
• Support the preparation and issuance of tender documentation for CSA, MEP, and specialist works
• Assist in managing variations, change control processes, and cost tracking
• Support the review of contractor progress claims and interim valuations
• Assist in preparing cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial updates
• Work closely with project teams across CSA, MEP, and technical systems
• Ensure all cost management documentation is accurate and up to date

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
• 2–5 years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or construction-related roles
• Exposure to construction projects (CSA and/or MEP scope)
• Experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, data centre, or mission-critical environments is an advantage
• Previous exposure to a cost consultancy or professional services environment is preferred
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Good communication and coordination skills
