Assistant Cost Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, cost plans, and budgets for data centre projects
• Support quantity take-offs and rate analysis for MEP or CSA packages
• Help prepare tender documentation, gather quotations, and support tender analyses
• Track project costs, monitor variations, and assist in change control procedures
• Support preparation of monthly cost reports and updates for clients
• Collect and verify data required for progress valuations and payment certifications
• Maintain organised documentation, cost records, and audit-ready files
• Assist in value engineering discussions and cost-saving reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction, Engineering, or related discipline
• 2-5 years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or construction
• Understanding of basic cost management concepts including estimating and tendering
• Proficiency in cost software such as CostX or willingness to learn
• Business-level English and native proficiency in the local language

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to MEP-intensive, industrial, or data centre projects
