Assistant Cost Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, cost plans, and budgets
• Support cost analysis for structural works, façade systems, and interior finishes
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets
• Prepare tender documents and pricing schedules
• Support tender processes including quotation comparison and cost analysis
• Liaise with local contractors and suppliers for pricing and clarifications
• Manage variations, change orders, and cost adjustments
• Review contractor progress claims and payment applications
• Maintain cost logs and project documentation
• Prepare monthly cost reports and updates
• Track project cash flow and construction progress
• Highlight potential cost risks or variances to senior team members
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors
• Support value engineering exercises and cost-saving initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
• 2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost management
• Experience in construction or residential projects
• Knowledge of high-rise residential or mixed-use developments
• Familiarity with Vietnam construction market and local contractors
