Assistant Corporate Controller

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close process in accordance with US GAAP
• Prepare, review, and maintain consolidated financial statements, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation
• Manage the U.S. general ledger accounting team, providing coaching and development
• Lead accounting process improvement initiatives, specifically focusing on SAP module enhancements
• Oversee SOX Section 404 implementation and compliance efforts
• Collaborate with Tax, FP&A, Technical Accounting, and SEC Reporting teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public company experience
• Proven experience owning the monthly/quarterly close and consolidated financial statements
• Experience managing and developing an accounting team
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, consolidation, and intercompany accounting
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• SAP HANA experience (OTC, fixed assets, inventory, consolidation)
• Experience in automotive, EV, or manufacturing industries
• Experience with multinational organizations and foreign subsidiary accounting
• Bilingual in English and Chinese Mandarin
• Large national public accounting firm experience
