Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process, including journal entry management and balance sheet reconciliations
• Champion an AI-first approach by integrating AI agents to automate journal entries and reconciliations
• Manage complex technical accounting areas including ASC 718, ASC 842, ASC 350-40, and ASC 805
• Lead monthly financial consolidation for multiple legal entities and ensure GAAP compliance
• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles
• Design and implement an ERP strategy to optimize financial platforms
• Lead the annual financial statement audit and act as the primary liaison for external auditors
• Design and deploy robust internal control frameworks
• Oversee procurement, accounts payable, and T&E processes
• Lead treasury operations, cash positioning, and debt facility management
• Lead and mentor a team of five accountants in a player-manager capacity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification required
• 10+ years of accounting and financial management experience
• 5+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Experience in Big 4 or large regional public accounting firms
• Deep expertise in GAAP and technical accounting (ASC 718, 842, 350-40, 805)
• Proficiency in NetSuite or equivalent ERP systems and advanced Excel modeling
• Experience or strong aptitude for implementing automation tools or AI agents
• Ability to work in Dallas, TX
