Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Prepaids, Fixed Assets, Taxes, and GL accounting
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assess current practices and implement best practices for ERP and other systems
• Assist with year-end audit activities and work with domestic and international auditors
• Develop staff through cross-training, performance management, and goal setting
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional accreditation such as CPA preferred
• 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Several years in a supervisory role
• Thorough understanding of US GAAP
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems (D365 is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in retail or manufacturing
• Cost accounting experience in consumer products manufacturing
• Experience with financial consolidations and reporting for multi-divisional entities
