About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in ensuring the project is managed to quality standards and completed on time
- Manage individual tasks including submittal and RFI processes
- Assist with the preparation of proposals for new projects or variations
- Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems
- Interface with stakeholders including executive management, consultants, and vendors
- Attend meetings, transcribe minutes, and drive action items to closure
- Develop detailed project plans and contribute to monthly reporting
- Manage daily tasks such as submittal approvals, RFI processing, and change orders
- Monitor and report on project costs, spending, and EVM systems
- Assist with the procurement of suppliers and resources
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google tools
- Exposure to project management software systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
