Assistant Compliance Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as a critical gatekeeper in Hong Kong with global coverage to ensure adherence to global regulatory requirements
• Assist in the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of compliance policies and corporate governance standards
• Perform third-party onboarding due diligence (KYC) and maintain onboarding database integrity
• Develop and deliver physical and virtual compliance training to foster a strong compliance culture
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide practical advice on compliance and global regulatory matters
• Conduct legal and regulatory research on global requirements, including sustainability-related laws
• Support investigations into potential non-compliance matters
• Provide operational support for the day-to-day functioning of the Legal & Compliance Department

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in compliance, internal audit, or legal
• KYC experience is an advantage
• Degree in law, accounting, or a related discipline preferred
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills
• High level of integrity and professionalism
