Assistant Community Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the Community Manager in property operations, financial record-keeping, and resident relations
• Assist with leasing activities, including showing units, screening applicants, and processing applications
• Execute marketing and advertising tasks to drive community occupancy
• Manage financial tasks such as accepting rental payments, preparing receipts, and processing invoices
• Maintain accurate resident files and lease documentation using the Yardi system
• Communicate effectively with residents to resolve maintenance requests and address concerns
• Monitor lease renewals and distribute timely notices to residents

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and auto insurance
• Ability to work most weekends
• Fair Housing Certification (or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospects)
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in apartment management
• 2+ years of college education
