Assistant Community Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in all operational duties of the Community Manager including reporting, rent processing, and leasing
• Manage resident relations by responding to complaints and organizing appreciation events
• Handle property finances including collecting, posting, and depositing rents and security deposits
• Oversee property operations and staff in the Community Manager's absence
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and landlord/tenant laws
• Conduct property inspections for maintenance needs and policy violations

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Community Manager
• Knowledge of LIHTC/Tax Credit Programs
• Proficiency in Yardi Voyager Property Management software
• Strong understanding of landlord/tenant and Fair Housing laws
• Solid bookkeeping and rent collection experience
• Proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and email

• Experience in affordable housing management
• Proven track record in resident retention and satisfaction
