Assistant Community Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in all operational duties of the Community Manager including reporting, rent processing, leasing, and marketing
• Manage and promote resident satisfaction and retention by responding to complaints and requests
• Handle property finances including collecting, posting, and depositing rents and security deposits
• Review resident files and ledgers to manage unpaid fees and enforce lease agreements
• Oversee property operations and staff in the Community Manager's absence
• Conduct business in accordance with Fair Housing, ADA, and company policies
• Assist with leasing duties including touring prospective residents

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Community Manager
• Knowledge of LIHTC/Tax Credit Programs
• Proficiency in Yardi Voyager Property Management software
• Strong understanding of landlord/tenant law and Fair Housing Laws
• Solid bookkeeping and rent collection experience
• Proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and email
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
